Radiation Therapist (RT)

Radiation Therapist Hours: 26 hours per week We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation treatments in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities include accurately positioning patients based on physician prescriptions, entering and verifying treatment parameters in ARIA, operating treatment and imaging systems, and monitoring patients throughout treatment to ensure safety and tolerance. The role supports radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists in preparing and implementing technical aspects of treatment plans, including performing CT simulations and preparing immobilization devices. Additional responsibilities include providing patient education and assistance, maintaining accurate treatment and equipment documentation, and participating in routine equipment checks. This position will also support departmental operations as we transition to a new HOPD location later this fall, where the Varian TrueBeam system will be implemented, making this an ideal time to join our team as we prepare for an expanded and modernized cancer center. Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program; ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
