Diagnostic Radiologist Location: Las Vegas, NV Type: Full-Time | Hospital-Based Position Overview: A leading hospital system in Las Vegas is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join a high-performing radiology team. This role provides comprehensive image interpretation, supports image-guided procedures, and delivers high-quality patient care across a variety of modalities in both inpatient and emergency settings. Key Responsibilities: Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and mammography Provide timely and accurate reads for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases in a high-volume environment Perform and/or support image-guided procedures as needed Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of findings and reports Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and hospital standards Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience practicing as a radiologist Active license to practice medicine in the State of Nevada (or ability to obtain) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology Certifications (as required): American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required depending on assignment Preferred Qualifications: Board certification in Diagnostic and/or Interventional Radiology Fellowship training in a radiology subspecialty Experience interpreting across multiple modalities (e.g., X-ray, nuclear medicine, mammography) Proven ability to manage high case volumes with accuracy and efficiency Skills & Competencies: Strong proficiency with radiology systems and imaging technology Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence Work Environment: Hospital-based setting supporting ER, inpatient, and outpatient services High-volume, team-oriented radiology department Opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and diverse case mix Why Join: Established and respected hospital system Collaborative clinical environment Diverse and challenging caseload Opportunities for professional growth and specialization
