Schedule/Hours:

• 5 Days per Week
• 8-Hour Day Shifts (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
• Care for both outpatient and occasional inpatient populations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments and simulations with minimum supervision
• Assess and prepare patients, ensuring thorough explanations and attentive support for patients and families
• Assist in treatment planning, including tumor localization and dosimetry
• Maintain accurate, timely records and patient schedules, always prioritizing patient safety and departmental consistency
• Perform weekly chart checks, rotating responsibilities with your partner
• Observe and report equipment or protocol deviations to appropriate personnel; uphold rigorous radiation safety protocols
• Contribute to creating a safe, clean, and positive environment for colleagues and patients alike
• Perform additional assigned duties to support seamless clinic operations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiation Therapy Technology
• Current ARRT (T) certification and Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist certificate
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Basic computer proficiency and clear communication skills
• Preferred: At least 1 year of clinical experience or successful completion of an AMA-approved program
• Familiarity with TRUEBEAM/VARIAN, ARIA, VISION RT, and EPIC preferred
