Participates in a variety of patient care and non-patient care duties involved in the planning and administration of radiation therapy to patients.
- Fabricates treatment aids and immobilization devices and performs simulation/AcQsim procedures.
- Collects analyzes and interprets data and performs quality checks.
- Performs radiation treatment delivery.
- Instructs students.
- Ensures patient and employee safety and communicates effectively.
- Participates in educational activities and staff meetings and ensures certification.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The starting base rate for this role is $37.47 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
