Become a vital part of a hospital in Delta, CO as an experienced CT Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents as ordered, and operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic studies. You will follow department protocols for patient protection, sterile technique, and universal precautions while assisting with special procedures and training radiology students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiography.
- Registered/certified CT Technologist required.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous CT technologist experience preferred. Two years experience preferred.
- Experience operating CT equipment and administering contrast media per radiologist orders.
- Ability to transport and position patients, use positioning aids, and maintain imaging records according to department policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MRI experience is a strong plus but not required.
Assignment Details
- 3 twelve-hour shifts plus 4 hours on day shift with occasional weekend support.
