Join our team as a Mammography Technologist in Cincinnati, OH. In this role you will perform screening and diagnostic breast imaging, assist with invasive breast procedures, and perform DEXA scans following established protocols. You will operate mammography equipment, apply radiation protection principles, provide patient education, and participate in quality improvement activities. This assignment includes rotation on mobile mammography vans and independent operation of imaging services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (RT and M).
- State licensure as required by Ohio.
- BLS required. ACLS also listed in order notes (include if applicable to your credentialing).
- Ability to perform independent screening and diagnostic mammograms and knowledge of QC procedures.
- Experience working with stereotactic biopsy procedures preferred.
- Experience with Hologic and GE mammography equipment preferred; ability to rotate on mobile vans required.
- Local candidates accepted.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an ARRT-accredited program.
- One year experience as a registered mammography technologist.
- Prior experience with Hologic 3D and GE Pristina 3D units.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours include 8-hour options: 6:30 AM3:00 PM, 7:00 AM3:30 PM, 7:30 AM4:00 PM.
- Mobile van hours can vary and may include longer shifts (examples noted 6:45 AM4:00 PM).
- Float to womens center and mobile mammography rotation once or twice weekly.
- No on-call responsibilities.
