As a traveler in this role, you'll gain valuable experience working with adults in a high-acuity, multi-specialty environmentcontributing to complex cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures within Cath Labs, EP, Hybrid, and IR rooms. Exposure to diverse workplace practices and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams foster opportunities to expand your resume and refine your skills, all while benefiting from supportive leadership and comprehensive onboarding. Schedule/Hours: Rotating on-call schedule: 10-11 call shifts per month 2 call weekends per month (Friday-Monday), 4p-7a weekdays Facility closed on holidays except for call coverage 30-minute response time required for call shifts Qualifications & Experience: ARRT certification, IEMA (IL license), BLS, and ACLS required Minimum of 2 years' Cath Lab or IR experience as a Radiology Tech Able to scrub and pan simultaneously, operate Impella and balloon pumps, and perform hemodynamic monitoring Preferred: Cross-training in multiple modalities (Hybrid/EP/IR) First-time travelers are not accepted Primary Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality imaging for intra-procedural adult cases (inpatient & outpatient) Collaborate with a strong support team, including round-the-clock RT and hospitalist coverage Rotate between Cath Lab, EP, Hybrid, and IR based on experience and department need Adhere to patient safety, sterile technique, and hospital protocols Utilize EPIC and advanced imaging/charting technology Benefits & Perks: Tax-advantaged travel stipends and premium compensation structure Full healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, and dependable job security Travel assistance for seamless transition Professional leadership, 12-hour orientation, and procedural scrub attire provided Free parking on site Advance your travel healthcare journey while experiencing Schaumburg's unique offerings and enriching your skills in a dynamic clinical landscape.
