As a traveling Cath Lab Technologist, you'll gain valuable experience operating advanced fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment in a dynamic cardiac cath lab environment. Schedule/Hours: Travel position - schedule details to be provided upon interview. Key Responsibilities: Support circulating RNs in assessing and delivering patient care, particularly for cardiovascular lab (CVL) patients. Recognize medications and lab values that may contraindicate cath procedures; promptly communicate findings. Accurately document patient and procedural information, including patient demographics, procedure details, hemodynamic data, and waveform analysis. Assist with equipment setup, acquisition, and first-line support to physicians while maintaining strict sterile technique. Dispose of biohazardous materials and contaminated equipment in line with safety protocols. Accurately calculate valve areas and shunts. Coordinate emergency transfers, provide support during codes, and assist with medication access both on and off the sterile field. Monitor and ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines for all personnel and patients. Communicate alterations in vital signs and patient conditions to the healthcare team. Take on other duties as assigned to support patient care and lab efficiency. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist required. Skilled in fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment operation. Proficient in sterile technique and safety protocols. Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
