Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology for a 13-week contract assignment. This position is designed for nursing professionals with a passion for delivering high-quality care in a dynamic procedural setting. As part of the Interventional Radiology team, you'll combine your clinical expertise with advanced imaging technology to support complex procedures and patient care. Schedule: Five days per week 7.5-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Weekly rotation through available shifts Qualifications: Active and current NJ RN License required Current BLS and ACLS certifications Previous experience in Interventional Radiology strongly preferred Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong patient assessment and critical-thinking skills Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures Assist radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions Monitor patient status, documenting all care and changes in condition Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care Communicate effectively with technologists, physicians, and support staff This is an exciting opening for a skilled RN seeking to enhance their experience in Interventional Radiology and build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues.
