Join a hospital team in Decatur, GA as a Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT imaging according to physician orders, administer contrast agents when indicated, position patients, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images. You will collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and ancillary departments to support patient care and throughput.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in a clinical setting.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or CT.
- Current BLS certification.
- Demonstrated experience administering IV contrast and performing contrast-enhanced CT exams.
- Recent experience working in an acute care hospital environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with advanced CT protocols, such as cardiac, CTA, or multiphase liver studies (preferred).
- Experience with PACS and CT scanner vendors common to hospital settings (preferred).
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 10:00 AM start (AM 10).
- Shift pattern: 4x10 schedule.
- May be required to float between nearby facilities as operational needs dictate.
