Shift: 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Experience:

24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Johns Hopkins (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must have Siemens and hospital experience.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathologic processes with emphasis on neurologic, orthopedic, and cardiac physiology. Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as related to the position, as well as aseptic and sterile techniques. Requires knowledge of the physics involved to perform magnetic resonance imaging exams, as well as the use of all equipment necessary to obtain and document a complete examination. Effective communication skills to interact with patients, physicians and other personnel.
  • Skills: High levels of analytical skills and critical thinking skills are required to perform appropriate scans based on the patients history and protocol. Work requires a high level of interpersonal skills for instructing and orientating patients, physicians, medical staff, and students.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Prefer one year experience in an imaging modality.
  • Prefer magnetic resonance training program experience with clinical internship or one year of clinical imaging experience.

Required Credentials:Requires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program.

Unit/Facility Details:Reports to MRI Manager or Chief Imaging Technologist/Immediate Supervisor. Performs Diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.

Shift & Scheduling:Tues/Wed 4p-4:30a and Saturday 8a-8:30p

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required
