Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is seeking an MSK-fellowship trained faculty member to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging with primary location at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) located in Maywood, Illinois, approximately 12 miles from downtown Chicago.
Candidates should be Board Eligible in Radiology, fellowship trained in musculoskeletal radiology, and exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging.
Options include an on-site position or a hybrid position requiring some on-site presence at predominantly the Loyola main campus location for completion of interventional procedures including joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy. Intermittent evening shift and weekend plain film call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems. In addition to clinical work, strong interest in clinical and formal resident education is essential. There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested.
Faculty rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Consideration may be given for appointment as Section Chief for the appropriate candidate. Applicants must be licensed to practice in the State of Illinois at the time of hire.
