Radiology Technologist Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Seeking an experienced professional with expertise in Imaging X-ray to provide high-quality radiologic technologist services within a clinical setting. This role offers the opportunity to deliver diagnostic imaging support, working directly with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams for a duration of 13 weeks.

Schedule/Hours:

• Two 10-hour shifts per week
• Choose between: Thursday and Friday, 8:30 pm 6:30 am Friday and Saturday, 8:30 pm 6:30 am

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
• Valid ARRT registration (or equivalent state licensure)
• Clinical experience performing routine and specialized X-ray procedures
• Proficiency in radiation safety and best practices
• Ability to position patients, operate imaging equipment, and deliver accurate results
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Commitment to maintaining sterility, safety protocols, and equipment standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients, ensure comfort, and explain procedures clearly
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; perform quality control checks
• Accurately document records and update imaging logs in the hospital system
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure precise diagnostics
• Monitor supplies and report equipment malfunctions promptly
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations
