Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiation Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Radiation Therapist - 13 Weeks Contract Location: Mount Vernon, IL 62864 Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - Radiation Therapist Key Responsibilities: Administer radiation treatments to oncology patients using equipment such as TrueBeam and ARIA, ensuring precise treatment delivery and patient safety. Perform simulation, treatment setup, and assist with treatment planning including IMRT, SBRT, SRS, respiratory gating, and custom immobilization devices. Document patient care in Epic, monitor treatment response, and provide education and support to patients throughout therapy. Required Skills: Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience in outpatient oncology setting. Experience with Eclipse (Varian), ARIA, TrueBeam, SBRT, electron beam therapy, and radiation safety practices. Active ARRT (T) and BLS certification required.
