Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Registered with ARRT (R.T.)(R) or equivalent
• State licensure as required by Virginia
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist or IR tech program
• At least 2 years of recent IR experience in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with current imaging and safety protocols
• BLS certification (current and active)
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of interventional radiology imaging with emphasis on patient safety and optimal imaging results
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Operate advanced imaging equipment and assist physicians with interventional procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for quality patient care
