This dynamic, full-time contract opportunity offers a consistent day schedulework four days a week, with ten-hour shifts.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program, associate degree in a healthcare-related field, or equivalent required; bachelors degree preferred
- 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting ideal
- Must have hands-on electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required for work in pediatric facilities
- Preferred credentials: RCIS, RCES, RCS by CCI; Radiography (R), CI, CV, or VI by ARRT; AB, OB/GYN, AE, or RVT by ARDMS
- Texas: Current MRT or LMRT licensure
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare the cath lab, ensure all equipment is functional, stocked, and ready for each procedure
- Operate imaging, hemodynamic, and ancillary devices; acquire digital images under physician supervision
- Accurately document patient data, hemodynamics, and ECGs during procedures
- Maintain aseptic technique, safeguarding patient and team safety
- Collaborate closely with cardiac specialists, nursing, and allied professionals to optimize outcomes and efficiency
- Act as radiation safety representative during X-ray use
- Support patient transport and participate in ongoing department process improvements
- Always uphold strict patient safety, privacy, and infection control protocols
