We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography (CT) and X-Ray to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in imaging procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and screen patients appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
* Capture high-quality diagnostic images of various anatomical regions using CT and X-Ray modalities, adhering to established protocols.
* Explain procedures to patients in an age-appropriate and understandable manner to foster cooperation and reduce anxiety.
* Assess patient pain or discomfort during procedures, intervene when necessary, and communicate promptly with physicians if complications arise.
* Ensure all imaging activities are performed in compliance with safety standards and organizational policies, minimizing the risk of errors.
* Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures, patient interactions, and equipment calibration.
* Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting imaging equipment, ensuring optimal operational readiness.
* Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives related to imaging services.

Qualifications and Certification Requirements: * Valid New Hampshire license in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. * Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. * VMS certification or equivalent as required. Experience: * Preferred 0-2 years of clinical imaging experience; however, candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
