A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Radiation Therapist Job Details: Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM (earlier shift times possible) Daily caseload of 25-40 patients Weekend work only required under certain conditions such as inclement weather No on-call responsibilities No floating required, but CT/SIM experience preferred Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience required First-time travelers not accepted Must have travel experience Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(T), SCRQSA Must be able to operate linear accelerator equipment CT experience required with Aria and Vision RT systems Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency Skills required: Adult acute care, adult outpatient, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety Dress code: Black pants with teal top or all black scrubs Charting systems: Paper and digital using Aria and Align RT Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) Block schedule accommodation possible with prior approval but not guaranteed Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center with 396 total staffed beds providing radiation therapy services as part of their cancer care program.
