Become a vital part of a Portland, OR hospital team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnosis. This role includes performing a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, as required by the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required.
  • ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required.
  • Advanced certification in CT modality: Required in OR and HI; preferred in CA.
  • Associates degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred.
  • BLS certification from an approved vendor per AH policy (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS): Required.
  • Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR.
  • Experience operating Siemens Flash Dual Source and Siemens Perspective CT systems: Preferred.
  • Experience performing CT procedures and additional imaging such as general radiography and fluoroscopy: Required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Assignment Details

  • Shift pattern: Sunday through Wednesday, up to 12-hour day shifts.
  • On-call rotation for weekend coverage as back-up technologist.
  • Department staffed 24/7; candidate may be expected to participate in departmental coverage as needed.
