Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred.

AS completion required.

Requirements:

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Fairfield Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials:

CCI or ARDMS registered cardiac sonographer accepted; registry eligible considered.
On-the-job training accepted with an Associates degree in Allied Health.
Must pass position competencies, including rhythm recognition.
Education: Associate or Bachelors of Science degree in Vascular/Echocardiography from an accredited institution for cardiac ultrasound or on the job training with associates degree in Allied Health.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

One to two years of echocardiography technician experience preferred, including 2-D echo with M-Mode, spectral and color flow Doppler, transesophageal echocardiography, and stress echocardiography.

Preferred Credentials:

Bachelors of Science degree in Vascular/Echocardiography preferred.

Unit Details:

Performs and assists with cardiovascular procedures ordered by physicians to support diagnosis, including other non-invasive cardiopulmonary procedures.
Role also includes EKGs, event monitor applications, cardiac monitor applications, pulmonary function tests, lower extremity Doppler studies, and stress testing.
Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling:
