Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Cudahy, WI. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate imaging equipment, and assist with patient monitoring and procedural support. This role supports a community hospital IR suite with a focus on general IR procedures and urgent interventions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required.
  • Valid Wisconsin state radiologic technologist license in hand at time of application.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology technologist experience with references.
  • Experience with general IR procedures such as nephrostomy tube placement, port placement, biopsies, peripheral angiograms and interventions, pulmonary embolism thrombectomies, embolizations, kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, paracentesis/thoracentesis, and ultrasound-guided procedures.
  • Ability to scrub and pan simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with EPIC, GE fluoroscopy, and ultrasound equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience charting and coding IR cases preferred but not required.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 0800-1630.
  • Workweek: Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts.
  • On-call rotation: Yes. One-week at a time every 3 weeks, Monday 1600 to the following Monday 0700; 45-minute response time.
  • May float to CT to assist with procedures (will not operate CT equipment).
  • Orientation: 23 shifts of unit orientation.
