Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist in Montrose, CO. Use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed cardiac images for interpretation by the healthcare team. Perform transthoracic, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiograms, carotid, venous, and arterial studies. Provide quality exams and accurate documentation to support physician interpretation and patient care.
Minimum Qualifications
- RDCS registration (ARDMS or CCI accepted).
- BLS certification on hire.
- ACLS preferred.
- Prefer one year of cardiac sonography experience. This is preferred, not mandatory.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and echocardiography imaging protocols.
- Ability to perform TTE, stress echocardiography, assist with TEE exams, and perform high-level disinfection of TEE probes.
- Ability to document and accurately enter patient and test data into electronic systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
- Experience preparing preliminary interpretations of echocardiographic studies.
- Prior experience maintaining imaging lab supplies and equipment.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 06:30 - 17:00.
- Typical schedule: MondayThursday or TuesdayFriday, per department scheduling.
