Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) in Helena, MT at a hospital. You will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires proficiency in general exams, vascular studies, and obstetric imaging across all trimesters. Some pediatric ultrasound experience is required. Epic is used. Equipment is GE.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARDMS certification required and must be on profile at time of submittal.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
- BLS certification required.
- Proficiency in general abdomen, vascular, AAA, and OB imaging including biophysical profiles.
- Some pediatric ultrasound experience required.
- Experience with GE ultrasound equipment preferred.
- Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Must be able to comply with a 70-mile radius rule. All requests for time off or schedule changes must be included on submission.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel experience preferred but not required; first-time travelers will be considered.
- Experience performing thoracentesis and paracentesis imaging support preferred.
- Epic experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1700 (MondayFriday).
- No call.
- Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
- Traveler will not be expected to perform ultrasound-guided procedures or breast scans.
- Professional scrubs of choice.
- HWL clinical team will prescreen; manager will conduct final interview and extend offer.
