MRI Technologist Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure. Must have New York state license upon start.
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist. Experience in adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ER/trauma settings preferred.
• BLS certification.
• MRI certification required.
• Experience with GE MRI systems and PACS.
• Skills in contrast media preparation/administration and radiation safety.
• Ability to perform a wide range of MRI studies including brain, MRA/MRV, spine, musculoskeletal (shoulder, hip, knee, upper/lower extremities), abdomen/pelvis, cardiac aortogram, orbits, head/neck, and specialty joints.
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE and starting peripheral IVs preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Management or lead experience.
• Prior work with adult ICU or high-acuity populations.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 5x8 Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 8:30pm.
• No call, no weekends, no holidays.
