Computed Tomography Technologist Travel Job

Become a vital part of a healthcare team in Pittsfield, MA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures, administer contrast materials, operate and troubleshoot CT/CR/DR and PACS equipment, assist with IV insertion and contrast injections, and apply independent judgment to facilitate diagnosis. You will follow departmental and hospital policies, maintain patient confidentiality, practice infection control, and complete required competencies and mandatory education.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of current CT and X-Ray technologist experience, with primary experience in CT.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification including CT and R modalities [REQUIRED].
• Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification [REQUIRED].
• Massachusetts radiology license [REQUIRED]. Travelers who include an application for MA license in their profile will be considered; license in hand is preferred.
• Previous travel staffing experience with an agency for at least 6 months to 1 year or more [REQUIRED]. First-time agency travelers will not be considered.
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
• Willingness to perform other duties within scope of practice during low census.
• Ability to demonstrate operation and troubleshooting of CR, DR, CT, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems.
• Traveler must have own vehicle and include permanent address in profile. Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• All required profile documents: updated work history, X-Ray and CT skills checklists (current to 1 year), ARRT credentials, MA Radiology License, BLS, and other items listed in profile requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech Expanse.
• Prior travel experience of 6 months or more with current agency assignments preferred.

Assignment Details

• Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday: 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• 32 hour guarantee with four optional hours every Monday to equal 36.
• Travelers must be willing to consider other department duties within scope of practice during low census.
• Requested time off must be noted and verified at profile upload. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Traveler must provide permanent address and own vehicle for assignment.
