MRI Technologist Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work effectively within a clinical team in a Level 1 trauma hospital environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI.
• AMRIT certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of MRI technologist experience. Must have Philips MR experience on 1.5T (Ingenia/Ambition) and/or 3T platforms.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center and with inpatient, ICU and anesthesia patients preferred.
• Experience performing neuro (spine, brain, brain perfusion), body (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis) and MSK imaging.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to follow protocols as written and function as a team-oriented, reliable clinician.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with Epic EMR.
• Familiarity with high-volume hospital radiology operations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:0019:30.
• Weekend coverage required as outlined by facility scheduling patterns; weekend hours typically total 36 per week (includes Saturday and Sunday plus an additional weekday).
• May rotate or float between multiple clinical sites when not assigned to overnight shifts.
• No call requirements.
