Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $40.40 - $56.56 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:
Performs sonography in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organizion.

Responsibilities:
Reviews pient history, physician's orders and does scheduling. Educes pient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure pient's understanding and cooperion. When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medicions within scope of practice.

Monitors pient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in stus as approprie. Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects approprie exposure factors and imaging parameters.

Implements safety standards and performs approprie quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions pient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.

Takes approprie action to resolve image quality issues, including re-positioning pient and repeing procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results. May work with Radiology students.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take approprie action.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Required Educion: Gradue of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
  • Required Licensure/Certificion: Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Ste licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
