Computed Tomography Technologist Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital radiology team in Las Cruces, NM as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scanning equipment to deliver diagnostic imaging for inpatient and outpatient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years CT technologist experience.
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or radiography as required by the client.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to provide required certifications prior to start as specified by the client. Client may require additional certifications; candidates must refer to the client checklist for the most current requirements.
  • Willingness to complete state-required fingerprinting and background screening for New Mexico prior to hire. Travelers may start on a supervised 14-day waiver while results are processed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Joint Commission accredited hospital or stroke/PCI certified center.
  • Prior experience with inpatient and outpatient CT procedures.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:0017:00.
  • Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
  • Local candidates must meet client travel distance eligibility as specified by the client for certain rate types.

As a CT technologist in this hospital, you will support diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for a regional medical center recognized for clinical programs including chest pain and stroke care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to help ensure timely, accurate imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment decisions.
