Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This position is located in Shreveport, LA at a hospital setting. Applicants should be prepared to work in a commonly hurricane-impacted area and follow facility emergency assignment procedures as assigned by unit leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in obstetric/maternal-fetal sonography or demonstrated competence in maternal-fetal imaging preferred.
• Ability to follow facility emergency response assignments and remain on site or serve on relief teams when required by unit management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional sonography credentials or subspecialty certifications preferred.
• Experience working in hospital radiology or cardiology departments preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:00 - 17:00.
• Schedule Pattern: 5x8.
