Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekday call: One shift per week, typically from end of shift (EOS) until 7:00 am
  • Weekend call: Every fifth weekend, EOS Friday until 7:00 am Monday
  • Flexibility available for shift structures (e.g., four 10-hour shifts, combinations of 8s and 12s)
  • No regularly scheduled holidays; potential for call
  • Up to 7 days approved for time off

Qualifications:

  • ARRT (RT[R]) certification and current WI license
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of IR experience; first-time travelers welcome with IR background
  • Skills in scrubbing and panning simultaneously for IR procedures
  • Comfort with high patient volumes (40-50/day)
  • Familiarity with Siemens, GE equipment, MedRad Injectors, Change Healthcare PACS, Alaris pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and EPIC EMR preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general and (if qualified) neuro interventional radiology procedures
  • Collaborate in a fully staffed unit with multiple techs, specialist clinicians, and on-site support
  • Participate in department call rotations (response time within 30 minutes)
  • Maintain accurate charging/coding for procedures (preferred)
  • Support patient transport as needed
