Working within a large, dynamic healthcare setting, youll gain hands-on experience in a Level III Trauma Center with Magnet Designation and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. This assignment places you among a diverse, collaborative staff, providing exposure to best practices in interventional radiology and opportunities to observe various leadership approaches. With a wide spectrum of cases, from general IR to neuro interventional procedures, youll significantly enhance your clinical skills and build a resume that showcases versatility and adaptability.
Schedule/Hours:
- Standard shifts are 7:00 AM3:30 PM (General IR) or 7:30 AM4:00 PM (Neuro).
- Flexible scheduling options: five 8-hour shifts, four 10s, or mixed shifts available.
- Night/weekend call required: 1 weekday on-call shift per week, a weekend on-call once every 5th weekend.
- Up to 7 days approved time off.
Qualifications:
- Current RT(R) ARRT certification; Wisconsin license required
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year IR Tech experience (first-time travelers welcome with required experience)
- Skilled in scrubbing and panning; comfortable with general IR cases
- Familiarity with Siemens/GE equipment and EPIC EMR preferred
- Willingness to take Neuro IR call if experienced
Responsibilities:
- Assist in a range of IR procedures (e.g., central lines, embolizations, nephrostomy tubes, AAA interventions)
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team with tech specialist and 24/7 hospitalist support
- Support neuro cases if so qualified
- Adhere to all coding/charging protocols where applicable
- Participate in call rotation with timely response
