Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist in New Berlin, WI

Youll be supported from day one with a thorough orientation and preceptorship, ensuring you quickly become part of this high-performing IR department. The facilitys strong focus on teamwork is reflected in their comprehensive support structure: two techs or more per exam room, dedicated coordinators, experienced leads, respiratory specialists, and 24/7 hospitalist and transporter coverage.

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible scheduling with potential for 4x10s or combinations of 8s/12s; open to manager negotiation
• Occasional call: one shift/week; one weekend every 5th rotation
• 30-minute response time on call
• General IR shifts start at 7:00am; Neuro IR at 7:30am

Qualifications:

• Current RT(R) with ARRT and BLS; Wisconsin license required
• At least 1 year recent IR tech experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Competent in scrubbing and panning; general IR skills essential (neuro IR experience a bonus)
• Familiarity with EPIC (preferred), Alaris pumps, Pyxis, MedRad injector, and PACS systems
• AAA intervention experience preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of IR procedures: kyphoplasty, central line placements, nephrostomy tubes, biopsies, drainages, vascular interventions
• Accurately assist with charging/coding (preferred)
• Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Maintain readiness for call shifts; ensure rapid, effective response when needed
