Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts with flexibility: General IR 0700-1530, Neuro 0730-1600
  • Weekday call (Monday-Thursday): One on-call shift per week (end of shift till 0700 the next day)
  • Weekend call rotation (Friday-Monday): Approximately once every 5th weekend
  • Holiday coverage is currently call-only; up to 7 days of requested time off can be accommodated
  • Shift structure may be adjusted (e.g., 4x10hr, 5x8hr, mixed shifts), based on your needs

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification (RT(R)), BLS, and an active Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist License are required
  • At least one year of hands-on IR Tech experience (first-time travelers with IR background welcomed)
  • Comfortable scrubbing and panning simultaneously, with experience in general IR procedures (kyphoplasty, PICCs, ports, fistulograms, etc.)
  • Neuro IR and AAA intervention experience preferred, but not essential
  • Familiarity with Siemens or GE imaging equipment, MedRad injectors a plus; EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, and Change Healthcare PACS familiarity is beneficial

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on a variety of adult IR and Neuro IR cases
  • Rotate through five advanced procedure rooms, supporting 40-50 cases daily
  • Participate in flexible scheduling, including equitable call rotations
  • Engage in safe, efficient patient care, supported by leads, coordinators, and 24/7 transport, respiratory, and hospitalist teams
