Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certified or registered Echocardiography Technologist (ARDMS or CCI preferred)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing and interpreting echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic and stress echoes
  • Previous imaging experience in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation and maintenance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and nursing staff
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in capturing and documenting patient data

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex echocardiographic examinations according to physician orders
  • Acquire high-quality images to assist in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Review and analyze exam results, and prepare detailed reports for medical providers
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed
  • Adhere to infection control, patient privacy, and regulatory guidelines
