As an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, youll have the opportunity to work alongside diverse professionals, growing your skill set through exposure to advanced procedures and varied workplace practices. Key Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT certification (VI or CV preferred)
  • State licensure as required
  • Minimum of one year of recent IR Tech experience in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment, sterile technique, and procedural protocols
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
  • BLS certification (ACLS a plus)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular and nonvascular procedures
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment for optimal performance and safety
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring care and comfort
  • Monitor patient vital signs and procedural status
  • Maintain accurate documentation and procedural logs
  • Uphold safety and infection control standards
  • Collaborate with the wider care team for effective patient management
