Take advantage of an excellent opportunity for CT Imaging professionals to provide expert care in a dynamic clinical environment on a contract basis. This role involves utilizing cutting-edge technology and established protocols to assist with disease diagnosis and patient treatment.

Key Qualifications and Certifications:

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, to be obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer.
• Radiologic Technologist credential from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) required before start date.
• In addition, at least one of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medical Technologist certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), including CT specialty, or
  • ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography, or
  • ARRT certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.
• Demonstrated experience in imaging/CT, with proven proficiency in patient positioning, equipment operation, and safety procedures.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform computerized tomographic procedures according to radiologist-established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters for imaging studies.
• Administer contrast media and medications following scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor patients during procedures, promptly recognizing and reporting any abnormal activity.
• Evaluate and suggest updates to imaging protocols for continuous improvement.
• Consistently adhere to radiation safety procedures, promoting a safe environment for patients and staff.
