Computed Tomography Technologist Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in San Andreas, CA as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when ordered, and operate CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images. Accurate patient positioning, adherence to safety and radiation protocols, and clear documentation in the charting system are required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years CT Tech experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (R).
• BLS Certification.
• Fluoroscopy certification.
• IV Therapy certification.
• Experience using MEDITECH for charting.
• Ability to float to other nearby facilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital CT/diagnostic imaging department.
• Previous exposure to emergency or trauma imaging workflows.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern includes days with every-other-week (EOW) rotation and first-to-float responsibility.
• Orientation: 12 hours.
• Hospital cancellation policy may apply: up to 4 shifts may be cancelled during a 13-week assignment (hospital may elect to pay full hours in lieu of cancellation).
