Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to evaluate and treat medical conditions. This opportunity is located in Hancock, MI at a hospital serving the Western Upper Michigan Peninsula. The facility offers a range of services including an open bore MRI, 64-slice CT, nuclear imaging, 3D mammography, cardiopulmonary and orthopedic services, emergency department and Level 3 trauma capabilities, dialysis, rehab, and senior living services. Close proximity to Lake Superior provides access to sandy beaches and coastal shoreline.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
  • BLS certification.
  • Experience performing diagnostic ultrasound in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with 64-slice CT and cross-sectional imaging workflow preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with open bore MRI environments preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting trauma or emergency department imaging preferred.

  • Shift hours: 0800-1600.
