Computed Tomography Technologist Travel Job

Become a vital part of a Sun City, AZ hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform prescribed CT procedures by following and verifying referring providers orders, produce high-quality images for timely interpretation, educate patients and families about procedures, and maintain equipment quality control and safety. You will apply independent judgment consistent with department policies and ensure documentation and workflow efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• State licensure required for AZ; include Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire.
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) required within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of CT technologist experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate human relations skills, analyze data, and solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Impacting Patient Care

You will perform CT procedures in accordance with facility policies and protocols, ensure optimal care for patients, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support regulatory and accreditation requirements. Duties include performing equipment quality control, troubleshooting, maintaining supply inventory, and documenting procedures accurately to support clinical decision making.
