Sign on bonus!!!Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging, and within established department and hospital guidelines, plans, organizes, and directs CT staff in all activities of the department; responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans on patients.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in radiologic technology, in addition to two or more years of progressively responsible experience in a hospital CT department
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize as needed.
- Leadership responsibility for efficient patient flow and accurate scheduling, as well as coordination of workflow for CT staff
- Oversight of CT supplies and associated budgetary impact
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill for proper use of all CT equipment
- Excellent command of verbal and written English
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Siemens and Toshiba experience
- PACS experience
- Previous Cerner experience a plus
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
License/Certification:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and CT Technology, and Massachusetts Radiation Control License required.
- Successful completion of an intravenous certification class provided by this institution within completion of the 12 week probationary period.
