Responsibilities
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms following ACR and FDA guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and answering questions.
  • Accurately position patients to capture optimal imaging for evaluation.
  • Operate mammography equipment and ensure regular maintenance checks.
  • Maintain documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers for follow-up recommendations.
  • Adjust to new clinical environments and contribute to quality care across facilities.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with mammography specialization.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography preferred.
  • Knowledge of breast imaging protocols, including 3D tomosynthesis (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, empathy, and communication skills.
  • Must be open and available for travel-based assignments .
