Join our team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Detroit, MI. In this role you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. You will instruct and position patients, assist with image acquisition and enter required data to support dictation and billing. You will follow facility policies and safety standards and assist with breast biopsy procedures including needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography (ARRT-M) certification. (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience. (Required)
- Current BLS (AHA) certification. (Required)
- Experience assisting with breast biopsy procedures including needle localization and stereotactic biopsies. (Client-specific requirement)
- Experience manually entering data for dictation and billing in a clinical environment. (Client-specific requirement)
- Ability to adhere to site attendance policies including limits on unscheduled absences and tardies for 13-week contracts. (Client-specific requirement)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cancer institute or hospital breast imaging department. (Preferred)
Assignment Details
- 8-hour shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM and ending between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
- One or two Saturdays per month required.
