Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where youll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• At least 2 years of radiologic technologist experience.
• Experience with RadNet and Merge Unity preferred.
• Experience with GE and Toshiba imaging equipment preferred.
• Experience performing brain, MRCP, abdominal, pelvic, and extremity imaging preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a busy department averaging high daily study volume.
• Familiarity with department workflows that include rotating call and weekend coverage.
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern notes: SatMon 12-hour shifts (per facility shift notes).
• Department has 2 scanners/rooms.
• May be required to float to other nearby facilities (approx. 6.5 miles away).
• Average number of scans/studies per day: approximately 100.
• Department uses RadNet and Merge Unity for imaging workflow.
• Radiology department staffed with an on-site radiologist.
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
• Holiday requirement: coverage includes 1 major and 1 minor holiday.
• Rotating call/standby requirement with approximately 30-minute response time.
• Department orientation provided by lead; at least one week of orientation expected.
