The West Michigan Cancer Center employs 230 People and is located in the center of Kalamazoo, MI. The city has a population of 80,000 and the metropolitan area has a population of approximately 225,000. While Kalamazoo has the quality of life associated with a small town it is the home of Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College, which adds to the cultural aspects of the area. Many beautiful parks and lakes are in the city and county, the Lake Michigan coast is 40 miles away, apple orchards and vineyards are a short distance outside the city, and the city is served by a regional airport as well as Amtrak connections to Chicago and Detroit.
