Miners Colfax Medical Center is a state-owned and licensed entity that includes a long-term facility. The Acute Care Hospital consists of a medical-surgical unit, an intensive care unit, an obstetrics unit, 2 operating rooms, and a 24-hour emergency room service. The Long-term Care Facility specializes in the care of occupationally injured and ill miners. Miners Colfax also provides an outreach program where a mobile unit is used to provide limited medical equipment and services to mining communities in New Mexico and Southern Colorado.
