PRN X-Ray Technologist, outpatient

Wellstar MCG Health Imaging (formerly Augusta University Health Imaging) is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to join our patient-focused team!

This PRN X-Ray Technologist will gain exposure to the Mammography Department! Existing Mammography knowledge would be beneficial for this role.

Duties to include: covering X-Ray Technologist lunch breaks, DEXA Department, and Mammography Clerical Work. We are willing to train in DEXA!

Position Status: PRN (as needed for staffing gaps, vacation coverage, call-outs, etc.)

Hours/Days Available: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm

As DEXA and Mammography volumes increase, we could potentially offer set hours, 3 days/week.

Location: Outpatient Imaging Center located in Augusta, GA at 3722 Wheeler Road

EDUCATION:

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
