Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through thorough interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate closely with surgeons on developing and implementing individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, ensuring correct patient positioning, and instrument hand-offs
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgical aspects is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
