JOB TITLE: Group Ticket Sales - Account Executive (Account Management & New Business Development)
DEPARTMENT: Ticket Sales

REPORTS TO: Manager, Group Ticket Sales
FLSA STATUS: Nonexempt
COMPENSATION: $20.00 per hour USD and eligible for discretionary sales incentive plan

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
The Group Ticket Sales - Account Executive (Account Management) is responsible for maximizing revenue through Group Sales renewals along with inbound leads for the Group Ticket and Special Ticket Offer businesses. This role will serve as the main contact for building relationships and renewing group accounts including corporations, community organizations, and tourism and travel, among others.
The Group Ticket Sales - Account Executive (New Business Development) is responsible for driving revenue through net-new Cubs Group Ticket and Special Ticket Offer sales. This role will independently research, prospect, cold-connect, and close new business. The Group Sales Representative will maximize revenue through conducting the full sales process from initial outreach through the final close.
THE DAY-TO-DAY: (Account Management)
Lead Group Sales renewal campaign and proactively communicate with core group ticket accounts
Maximize Group Sales revenue associated with inbound leads that originate from phone calls, web forms, and various referral sources
Grow relationships and execute renewal sales for various Special Ticket Offers
Lead Group fundraising efforts with local non-profit organizations and community groups
Conduct onsite meetings, walkthroughs, and site visits at Wrigley Field
Meet or exceed all operational and revenue targets
THE DAY-TO-DAY: (New Business Development)
Drive new Group Ticket revenue through independent research, prospecting, and outreach
Maintain consistent dialogue with new prospects while balancing other necessary touchpoints to drive success
Drive revenue through new, large-scale corporate and organization outings
Grow relationships and execute sales for various Special Ticket Offers
Lead Group fundraising efforts with local non-profit organizations and community groups
Conduct onsite meetings, walkthroughs, and site visits at Wrigley Field
Schedule and lead offsite meetings with new Group Ticket prospects
Meet or exceed all operational and revenue targets
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
Minimum of one (1) year outbound sales or customer service experience preferably within professional sports
Demonstrated skill in time management and ability to sell multiple products concurrently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
Ability to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Proven track record of revenue generation through the execution of new business strategies and / or renewal strategies
Strong desire to be a sales & service industry leader with a passion for sports sales
Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
Experience with salesforce.com or similar CRM tool
