Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and education, with the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. This role involves working closely with young children, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
Engage students in various activities, including arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play.
Maintain classroom management to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices.
Provide first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Experience
Experience working with children under 13 years old for at least one year is required.
Previous experience working with students in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
Background in childcare roles such as nannying, babysitting, or infant care is highly valued.
Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
A genuine love for working with children and helping them grow both academically and socially.
