The Sr EE Tech Xray Technician is a member of our quality team in the Rapid Electronics Prototype assembly group. Your main responsibilities will be programming and operating inspection equipment as well as providing manufacturing best practice expertise to deliver Electronic Prototypes on time, with high quality and with a continuous improvement mindset.

Youll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Program and operate advanced X-Ray inspection systems to enable high-resolution, non-destructive analysis of complex PCB assemblies, driving precision and insight beyond traditional inspection methods.
  • Deliver real-time, expert-level feedback to the assembly and engineering teams, translating X-Ray data into actionable process improvements and defect prevention strategies.
  • Develop and refine inspection programs that adapt dynamically to evolving board designs, component packages, and soldering techniquespushing the boundaries of automated quality control.
  • Communicate design and manufacturability insights to stakeholders, using X-Ray analytics to influence upstream decisions and reduce downstream defects.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by integrating X-Ray data into broader quality and process control systems, enabling predictive analytics and smarter manufacturing.
  • Perform inspections aligned with IPC standards , while challenging conventional thresholds to elevate quality expectations and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using X-Ray imagery and defect data , identifying systemic issues and driving corrective actions across teams.
  • Generate detailed reports and visualizations that transform raw inspection data into compelling narratives for quality reviews, audits, and customer transparency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed X-Ray insights into design, prototyping, and production workflowsmaking quality a shared responsibility.

What TOOLS youll bring with you:

  • Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical school. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years related x-ray experience in an electronics Environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Solid IPC knowledge.
  • Must be able to identify electronic components, polarity, values, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using and working with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • Manufacturing experience with Automated assembly and inspection equipment.
  • Experience working alongside engineers in an engineering/electronics lab.
